Michael is one the founders of University Scouts LLC and have served as CEO since June of 2008. Michael has a bachelor degree in Political Science & a Minor in Finance. He has played Football at James Madison High School and Lacrosse at Dowling College. His love for sports encouraged him to help create University Scouts.  Michael and the founders are committed to helping student athletes throughout the world reach their full potential as individual and athletes. Michael has been in management since 1994 and is an Agency Sales Director for a Financial Firm in New York.

I began University Scouts with my partners to help high school student athletes market themselves to college coaches across the country. I was an average high school baseball player who did not get much exposure to college coaches until I took control of my own marketing. I noticed that the average high school player goes unnoticed and either does not play at the collegiate level or they make a team as a walk on. Most of the time they do not receive a scholarship or aid for playing.

Well i love what i do, and i enjoy people using my applications. I was an athlete in high school and had scholarships for basketball that i regret not following through with, which drives me to make this website one of the best!

Lee Malandrino. Played 4 years of varsity lacrosse at Shoreham Wading River High School.  Led Shoreham Wading River to a New York State Championship his senior year, as a co-captain and the starting goalie.  Played two years of NCAA division 1 lacrosse at the University of Hartford.  Played two years of MCLA division 1 at West Virginia University.  As a senior, starting goalie and captain, led WVU to the playoffs, earned the most saves in the MCLA, second most saves per game, and 4th best save percentage in the MCLA.

Played Junior College Lacrosse at Nassau Community College and played in the Final 4 of the NJCAA Championship Tournament
Played Division III Lacrosse at Lasell College and played in the ECAC Championship Game

I have seen the college selection process from both sides: as a student at Mansfield University (NCAA Division II) in Mansfield, Pennsylvania and as head coach and assistant baseball coach at the University of Guelph.
While at Mansfield University, I had the privilege of playing in the NCAA Division II College World Series (1992). 

Over 12 years of Basketball Coaching and Training experience. Coached Junior Varsity and Varsity High School Basketball also Coached AAU. Brett has place multiple students into Division 1 Basketball programs over his career.Coach Brett as he is known, has been coaching since 1999 and has been part of a
coaching staff that has help more than 47 players get D1 scholarship with a
total in upwards of 100 that includes D2, D3 and Juco players. Coach Brett's
coaching service is from 1999-2002 with the Silver Bullets AAU Program Long
Island,NY. From  2002-2005 at Our Savior New American School Long Island,NY.
From 2005-2008 at Mt Zion Academy Durham,NC. Coach Brett also owns First In
Flight Basketball offering basketball training.
Coach Brett continues to grow his relationship with past players, current high
school and college coaches.

Coach Marcelino graduated from East Meadow high school in 1999. Coach Marcelino was a 2 sport athlete in football and lacrosse. Marcelino started and was a top player for his High school team. Marcelino played with Nassau Community College as a starter and was team captain. Under his team leadership Marcelino lead his team to win 2 national championships in 2000 and 2001. Coach Marcelino received all tournament team honors and went on to play with Molloy College were he started both in offense and played a defense midfield. With Molloy Coach Marcelino won a ECAC title in 2005.  

Perry Owens former Varsity Coach for the Thundering Herd high school basketball team in Carlisle PA.  

Perry played for the same team he coached from 1979-1983. Perry as a player was nomindated into the

1000 point club. After High school Perry played for San Jacinto junior College in texas, winning the

1983-1984 National Championship, and then went on to Hagerstown college. Coach Perry Owens

Coach with Kirk Smallwood at Harrisburgh (1995-1997) and was the assistant Varsity coach at Bishop Mcdervitt

for three seasons with Duan Lee.

All Conference and team captain for St Mary‘s High school team in 06-07. Achieved NSCHSAA all conference player, voted team MVP and all athlete. In college was recruited to play for Pace university with combined academic and athletic scholarships. Started all 4 years and last 2 years was team captain.
